HDPE fusion machine and poly fusion machine is playing an important role in Southeast Asia in countries such as Vietnam, thailand, Philippines and Singapore. HDPE pipeline in these countries is ageing, requiring hdpe fusion machine and poly fusion machine for repair and replacement. New installations are also increasingly making use of hdpe fusion machine and poly fusion machine as these countries seek to conserve rivers and roads when installing hdpe pipeline beneath them.
In Singapore the Civil Board is vested with the challenging task of maintaining the sewerage reticulation system which has its origin in colonial times. The Sewerage Department of the Civil Board identifies older sewers, restores their condition and keeps the health of the system in the pink to serve the increasing development in Singapore.
HDPE pipeline reline has a large amount of excavation work and sewers were repaired mainly by the open trench method. The operation, while necessary, was time-consuming and often caused disturbing to clients.
Today, the Civil Board uses a number of hdpe fusion machines and poly fusion machines in sewer rehabilitation work as they continue to maintain the 3,200 km of gravity sewers, 220 km of pumping mains and 130 pumping installations of the sewer reticulation system. Under continuous hdpe pipelines’ reline programs, a total of 890 km of sewers in various parts of Singapore will be recovered.
